Commonality in Construction

Last Tuesday during lab we visited the two construction sites on campus. We were supposed to make a list of the similarities and differences between the two sites. We learned that even though there appeared to be a lot of similarities between the sites they were actually very different. Each individual company had similar tasks to do but they each went about it in different ways. For example the way each company handled site utilization was different. Both sites were the same in that they had fencing around the site and several job shacks, but at the basketball facility they better utilized parking and material lay down compared to the dorm site.
